Print Tech Needed

Wild Beaver is looking for a full-time Print Technician to help us make more #damgoodstuff! Monday - Friday role. Pay starting at $17/hr + (depending upon knowledge and experience). Taking applications through October, will start reaching out to candidates in mid-late October.

‍Impose, full bleed, saddle stitch, gutter, z-fold are some of the printing and finishing terms our ideal candidate should be familiar with.

Candidate Must Haves:

Able to work with customers in person, on the phone, and via email . Be friendly, patient, & knowledgeable when discussing projects or quotes.
Able and willing to learn our in-house pricing and estimating software
Printing and/or finishing knowledge is HUGE. We don't expect you to know how to operate our equipment on day one, but a background in common printing concepts and terminology is necessary for this role. For reference,the equipment we use daily include: Canon C910 Digital Press with Fiery Unit, two wide format printers, small flatbed printer, Formax stack cutter and a Duplo 648 slitter/cutter/creaser.

Knowledge of different media (paper and card stock especially). Can confidentially recommend media to customers based on their project / budget / end usage, etc.
Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a truck (Ford F-150, no CDL required)
Can lift and move cases of paper (30 -50+ lbs)

Able to get down to floor level (and back up!) when paper jams happen or to empty waste containers from cutting equipment
Initiative - if you're a soul that jumps into the tasks of the day without a daily prompt, we very well might be inspired to commission a bard to write a song praising your steadfast dependability
Computer experience - from the basics of opening emails and attachments, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365 applications, and file transfer software (Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc)
An appreciation of beavers and sense a good sense of humor! We are Wild Beaver, after all :)

**This is a Monday through Friday gig, 8:30am to 5:30pm shift that might adjust to 9am to 6pm - just depends on growth and how much we need to stagger production hours to ease equipment bottlenecks.**

Pay from $17/hr - rate will be based on knowledge and experience ‍
Weekly pay periods
One hour lunch
Pre and Post Tax Benefits available through Liberty National / Globe Life after 1 month
‍We pay 100% of health insurance premiums on a Platinum level plan (eligible after 3 months) ‍
Holidays off with pay include New Year's Eve / New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day/After, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day...with more days under review
